Crimson TidBit - Amalgam Leads To…

We are jumping right into another quotation from The Key To Ultimate Health.  This time we are looking at some of the consequences of using amalgam fillings.

“Amalgam Leads to Root Canals and Crowns”

Root canals and crowns are virtually always preceded by mercury/amalgam fillings.  The non-reinforcing mercury/amalgam acts like a wedge that forces the cusps of the teeth apart.

Eventually, part of the tooth breaks off and a crown is required; or bacteria penetrate to the nerve, and a root canal is required.

Root canal therapy involves removing the nerve and other infected or dead material, then packing the canal and sealing it. The procedure is necessitated by exposure of the nerve, even when that result comes about from excessive drilling by the dentist himself.

The procedure is done to eliminate pain and counter the imminent threat of infection; but whether it achieves this result is hotly debated….

A crown, also called a cap or a jacket, is an artificial tooth shaped fabrication put over the natural crown (the part of the tooth above the gumline) after a major portion of the tooth has been ground away to make space for the cap.

Crowns made of conventional materials are reinforced with metals that may be toxic to the body and that can give rise to the battery effect.

Newer filling materials discussed in Section II can be bonded in a way that avoids these dire results.  Not only are the cusps not forced apart when the new materials and procedures are used; they
are actually fused together and reinforced.”

The above quotation is an excerpt from The Key to Ultimate Health, pages 68-69.
