Free Credit Resource - America, America - Chapter One
Today I do something that I’ve been wanting to do for a while.
My good friend, Jarrod Williamson, PhD has written a book that Crimson Books both requested and subsequently published.
We’ve entitled the book “America, America”.
The title is so stated to connote that we live in a land that has historically embraced grand ideals, far more grand than any other nation before. It also connotes the optimism we have for America.
At the same time, we’d have to be living under rocks to imply that life in America isn’t getting tougher for a good many people.
We’ve recently even heard of people giving up on America to return to their mother country. Indeed things have gotten tougher in the “land of the free and home of the brave.”
Portions of this book were originally written to help relatively new arrivals to these our shores to acclimate themselves and keep out of harm’s way.
If you think about it, if you came from a dirt poor country, how familiar would you be with America’s credit rating system, checking accounts, cell phone plans, apartment contracts or home buying process?
Right. So those topics are all addressed in Jarrod’s book. He also follows up with a one-two punch for dealing with tough credit problems.
I am not talking about having a few thousand dollars on a credit card - though he discusses that too. I am referring to what to do if you’ve got mean and nasty debt collecter’s terrorizing you day and night. And not just debt collector’s ’stalking’ you, but unfairly, when, for example, a blemish on your credit report is undeserved and should be removed, but they won’t do it.
Oh sure, every Tom, Dick and Harry out there has a letter writing scheme to supposedly get the mark removed. But Jarrod goes a step further. What if you write the letter(s) and things only get
worse?
Jarrod names a resource available to you that will enable you to hammer them bad folk. Sure, it will take some effort. It’s not as easy as just pushing a button or paying some money…but it will work. And you will be all the smarter, tougher and wise for having done it. You’ll know the law designed to protect you and how to use it too!
Them bad folk will learn not to mess with you.
No, I’m not talking about some new form of Karate, though I think Jarrod knows some martial arts (and he’s as strong as an ox). Yipes!
